Google Business Profile Assistance

Get a Free Google Business Profile Analysis

Find out exactly what your listing is missing — before you spend a dollar fixing it.

A Google Business Profile is the single most important listing a local business owns, and most of them are half-finished. We'll review yours field by field, at no cost, and send you a plain-English list of what's wrong and what to fix first.

No cost, no card, no obligation. Or call (620) 417-4687 and we'll pull up your profile on the spot.

What to expect

What we check in your free analysis

Your Google Business Profile is a living asset, not a static business card. It needs to be set up correctly and then maintained. Here's what we look at.

Claim & ownership status

Is the profile actually claimed and verified by you — or is it unclaimed, claimed by a former employee, or sitting under an old marketing vendor's account?

Duplicates & suspensions

We look for duplicate listings competing with each other, and for the guideline problems that trigger Google suspensions.

Categories & services

Primary category, subcategories, and whether your actual services and products are entered. This is one of the strongest ranking factors and the most commonly wrong.

Business description

Is it there, is it compelling, and does it read like a real business rather than a keyword dump Google can penalize?

Photos & logo

Whether the required images are uploaded, current, and enough of them — profiles with photos get meaningfully more clicks and direction requests.

Hours & contact info

Regular hours, holiday hours, phone, website link, and booking links — the details that make a customer either call you or move on.

Reviews & responses

Review volume, recency, average rating, and whether anyone is responding. Unanswered reviews cost you more than a low rating does.

Competitive position

Who is currently outranking you in the map pack for your core searches, and what their profiles have that yours doesn't.

Nine in ten people start their search for a local business online. In rural Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas markets, that search almost always ends at a Google map result — and the businesses winning those results aren't the biggest ones. They're the ones whose profiles are complete.

Multi-location

Running more than one location?

Whether you have three profiles or three hundred, we'll analyze the whole set — consistency across locations, duplicates, location groups, per-location categories, and which sites are dragging the others down.

Multi-location businesses have a different problem than single-location ones: it's not that the profiles are missing, it's that they were created piecemeal over years by different people. We untangle that, then streamline setup and bulk verification for anything that's still missing.

FAQ

Free analysis questions

Is the analysis really free?
Yes. No card, no contract, no obligation. We review your profile, send you the findings in writing, and walk you through them if you want a call. If you'd rather take the list and fix everything yourself, that's a perfectly fine outcome.
How long does the analysis take?
We schedule about 30 minutes to review the profile properly and send written findings, usually within one to two business days of your request.
What if I don't have a profile at all?
Then the analysis is short and the answer is clear: you need one. We'll confirm whether an unclaimed or third-party listing already exists under your business name, and what it would take to claim it. Setup is a one-time $97.
Do you need access to my Google account?
Not for the analysis — everything we review is publicly visible. We only need manager access if you hire us to make changes, and you stay the owner of the profile either way.
What happens after the analysis?
You get the findings. If you want us to fix them, our Google Business Profile Setup service handles claiming, verification, and full optimization for a one-time $97 with free lifetime support. If you want ongoing posts, Q&A, and review management, that's Southwind Guardian℠.
My listing was suspended. Can you help?
Often, yes — suspensions usually trace back to a guideline problem like a mismatched address, a keyword-stuffed business name, or a service-area setup Google flagged. The analysis identifies the likely cause and whether reinstatement is realistic.
I'm a chamber, city, or nonprofit — does this apply to us?
It does. Chambers, visitor bureaus, city offices, and nonprofits all show up in local search and map results, and most have profiles that were created once and never maintained. The review is the same.
